Nothing but complaints.

Look around at other Conservative sites and what will you see? Nothing but complaints about how the system isn’t working anymore and how hopeless it is. Those sane Conservatives have an unhealthy, in my opinion, attachment to the Republican Party. They say they want change then go ahead and vote for the same old RINO’s in their district, like Stooge Number 1 aka John Boehner.

They say they want change but only in your back yard not theirs.

Are you ready for the burning times? This system is going to collapse and it will probably collapse in our life time. How are you going to survive? Do you have a plan at all? Are you just hoping things stay together until you are dead and do not have to deal with it?

God does not work that way. He wants you to know how to survive. He wants you to have these skills. He wants you to be able to take care of those that you love and your self.

First off a few tips for those of you who live in the cities. Things that you should have that will make escaping and surviving easier.

Water purification Tablets. Any large store sells them and you should have at least a weeks supply in a backpack somewhere. A small fishing pole, preferably one that telescopes or folds up so that it small enough to fit in that same back pack. A small game weapon. Either a semi auto 22 caliber rifle or a 410 shotgun. I prefer the rifle even though a box of 500 rounds of 22 lr can be a bit heavy. The 410 shotgun however will be more effective in providing small game for the cook pot or cooking post.

This is not meant to be an end all of what would be useful and this post will be updated as I have time.

Complaining may make you feel better but it wont help you to survive.

Added. A good survival knife made of very fine quality steel. This one item may be very useful in helping you acquire other items that will aid you. I have one of these. http://www.cutlerywholesaler.com/high-quality-military-survival-knife-and-kit.aspx

It works as intended and comes with a lot of extra goodies and is not very pricey.

Do you have that feeling……..?

I’m of a different opinion. I see the basic needs of people being taken care of easily. What’s truly scarce? Not energy, not water, not minerals. Is the world population exploding in a doomsday scenario like Malthus, Ehrlich and the other anti-people crazies predicted for the last 200+ years? All the data says no. Is the population becoming more violent or less violent just about everywhere in the world? The data says less violent.

So will we need to survive a coming collapse? IMO no. Something more subtle and perhaps more dangerous. I see a joining together of crony capitalism, big business, the Fed, the banking system and the government essentially dividing the population into those who are independent of the system and those who are dependent on the system.

If there are adequate resources does a rancher allow his cattle to fight amongst themselves? Does a rancher make sure his cattle have enough to eat and are in good health? Does a rancher like independent bulls?

The post-scarcity era whereby more and more people can become independent of the government is going to be a critical challenge to centralization. The problem for Big X is that people are not cattle. The perpetual running after the next $ trick will work on many, the handouts will work on many, but there is a group who can be contented with a modest lifestyle they earn for themselves.

That third group, of independents, can’t be herded into the RINO vs Dem debate. It can’t expect to get much from any politician. It doesn’t need to build structures to prepare for a state of anarchy as much as to prevent it’s opposite, a state of perpetually being entertained and consumed.

“So will we need to survive a coming collapse? ”

I do not see it as a collapse. Out right fascism yes. Collapse no. The collectivists are doing their utmost to outlaw any opposition from whatever source.

Without opposition, how long before they succeed? How long before it becomes more of a burden to live with than without?

Black Americans and the Obama Dilemma
    By Patricia L. Dickson

When Black Americans decided that they would throw their full support behind Barack Obama in both of his presidential runs, they set in motion a rolling stone that cannot be stopped. It is foolish and dangerous to give your unyielding support to anyone, let alone someone you know very little about. As a Christian American black female back in 2008, I got in many heated discussions with who I thought were other intelligent Christian black Americans (some were my close friends since childhood). I got the shock of my life when I was yelled at and called all kinds of names by individuals that I thought were both Christians and also my friends. No matter how many facts I presented about candidate Barack Obama’s record supporting issues that were contrary to what these individuals claim to be against (e.g. abortion), they were unyielding in their support for the black presidential candidate.

McDonald’s orders 7,000 touchscreen kiosks to replace cashiers

McDonald’s recently added 64,000 people to its payroll in the United States, but job prospects in Europe for those so inclined to work in the fast food industry are looking pretty grim right about now. That’s because the fast food giant is poised to add touchscreen kiosks in more than 7,000 of its restaurants in Europe in effort to replace actual, human cashiers.

Worst of all, the people most hurt by policies like the minimum wage the very people they are designed to help: the less educated, the less skilled, and the less experienced. By removing a rung on the job ladder, minimum wage laws take away job opportunities from the young, poor, and uneducated. They reward those who already have jobs and protect experienced workers from competition. This is something to keep in mind as President Obama continues his grandstanding about hiking the minimum wage from $7.25 to $9 an hour. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and the people who will pay for this one are the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society.

While I respect Dr B’s opinion, I don’t see much difference from an out right societal collapse and the fascism that the left will bring to our Country.

I don’t see much will in the boehners, cantors, or Mark Noonan’s of the country to put up any effective resistance to the left.

The only effective resistance lately was centered on a man named Clyven Bundy. He accomplished what he did and is still free only by force of arms. And we all know what the “opposition” thinks about that.

Donald Sterling and his antitrust lawyer (YUP) Maxwell M. Blecher have sent a letter to the NBA threatening to sue the league, while also refusing to pay the NBA’s $2.5 million fine for his recent racist ILLEGALLY recorded comments.

The letter, first reported by Sports Illustrated and USA Today, claims that Sterling did nothing wrong and that “no punishment is warranted.”

Sterling’s lawyer contends that the 80 year-old’s “due process rights” were violated when he was permanently banned after a brief four-day investigation. Blecher also insists Sterling did not violate any article of the NBA constitution.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver fined Sterling $2.5 million on April 29 and issued him a lifetime ban for the remarks, which were secretly recorded by his mistress and released on TMZ’s website last month.

I hope Sterling shoves this so far up the nba”s ass it comes out of someones majic johnson.

‘Chickens Come Home to Roost’ – Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Daughter Convicted on 11 Counts of Fraud Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, March 8, 2014, 7:54 PM

Jeri Wright and Rev. Jeremiah Wright In September Jeri Wright, daughter of Reverend “God Damn America” Wright, and 12 other Democrats were charged with embezzling $16 million in Federal health grants that should have gone to AIDS charities and other programs for the poor and needy.

More than one of the defendants had direct ties to President Barack Obama. On Friday Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s daughter was found guilty of eleven counts that included money laundering and lying to federal agents. Breitbart reported: On Friday, a federal jury took less than two hours to convict the daughter of President Barack Obama’s controversial former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, of fraud.

Jeri Wright was found guilty of a fraud scheme that siphoned thousands of taxpayer dollars intended for a not-for-profit work and education program known as We Are Our Brother’s Keeper. Prosecutor Timothy Bass said Jeri Wright lied “over and over” and went on a “spending spree” that included traveling to Las Vegas, buying vehicles, and remodeling her basement with cash from the money laundering scheme. She was found guilty on all counts.

Walls Closing In for Jews at UCLA — and in America
    By Pamela Geller

The walls are closing in on status of equality of Jews in America. Anti-Semites and Islamic supremacists have been pursuing their bigoted agenda of hate under the guise of the invented Palestinian narrative. After years of battering and bullying, they have reached a tipping point. A terrible, horrible tipping point.

The targeting and mistreatment of Jews on the UCLA campus has grown increasingly virulent – while the university’s administration and the mainstream media yawn. One particular Jewish student at UCLA, Avinoam Baral, is being vilified and targeted incessantly by Muslim groups. Muslim Brotherhood groups, so named in the largest terrorist funding trial in our nation’s history, are demanding that Jewish students sign Nuremberg-like oaths not to associate with Jewish groups, in their continuing jihad against the Jews.”

    TOUGH!!
American jews and blacks have pushed this nation away from freedom, towards leftist marxism, denigrating Christianity, pushing for un constitutional “hate” crime laws, PC, affirmative action shouting down and suppressing anything conservative. They love abortion, homosexuality anti second amendment gun laws, and the re definition of marriage. They fully support illegal aliens living here on OPM, They have po po’d our warnings about islam, and now when it is coming for them we hear their cries for help…….sorry LIVE with what you have sown.

    Well Happy Friday to y’all!

While I’m not a believer in a breakdown in society, I do believe one should try and figure a way to become as free of big X as possible. Now I have a government job, had worse offers but not that much worse at private universities and could have worked making big money as an actuary. I choose my path based on my preference for free time over more stuff, but understand my friends whose houses are the double of mine.

Now the private universities are dependent on students with federal financial aid and the insurance companies rely on government regulation, barriers to entry and a host of other policy decisions. In some sense we all play the game by the rules and voting is partly about changing the rules of the game we think are unfair.

My question to people is how dependent do you people here think you are on the government on their livelihood, both directly and indirectly? E.g. the government could get rid of licensing for certain jobs which would fowl up skilled professions like electrician, could screw around with water rights which would put farmers in a bind etc.

Maybe a second question is how dependent are you directly and indirectly on Big Corporation? Do you get your seeds from Monsanto? Do all your plumbing supplies come in a box from China?

I ask partly because I see some young people who poo-poo the idea of working for the government when they graduate but expect some big Wall Street firm or defense contractor to employ them when they have their diploma. That doesn’t seem like a freer life to me in any sense given the dependence of Wall Street and defense contractors on government itself.

Sadly I, like 99.9% of all citizens are 100% reliant on government and big corporations. That said I do not rail against government or big corporations per se. I do however buy into that an all owning, all providing, all controlling federal government is very dangerous and I would like to see it severely limited with 90% of the agencies closed and picked up by the individual states. Including the IRS.
The UNARMED FBI would remain in place. ( as what it’s name inferres an INVESTIGATION bureau.)
We need GOOD government employees, we need dedicated hard working people providing the services our government provides, we do not need the behemoth we now have. Our teachers like your self are the lifeblood of our future and dont let any one take that away, unfortunately many have become leftist union thugs and ideologues that makes them dangerous and enemies of the average citizen.

A “case by case is dead on”. I have (and had) many Jewish friends, we have discussed this very topic long and hard and can be quite puzzling for both sides, on one side a very discrininated minority , and yet those in their ranks fight to tear down the very mechanism that protects them….IE ole chuckie shumer who would dis arm us all….go figure.

“Do you get your seeds from Monsanto?”

    Hell no. Hell no again!

Monsanto and the like would love to put people like me out of business. We chop into their business by only a very small margin. However every year that someone puts a heritage seed into the ground in garden or whatever we chop just a little bit more because that food from last year yields the seed being used this year.

Correct me if I am wrong but don’t you work for a State University? Where a state spends it’s money is no concern of mine. I don’t believe the feds should be supporting the state university at all. Directly or indirectly. There is no basis for that action in our Constitution.

I do suppose the feds and the State of Illinois could start messing with water rights, declaring my land that lies adjacent to the flooded creek going through, as wetlands, deciding that no wells can down into the acqufier, and other shenanigans.

I’ll dot those t’s and cross those i’s when I come to them.

The best thing is to be prepared if those do happen.

    Michael Sam the Sham
    By C. Edmund Wright

A funny thing happened on the way to Michael Sam just wanting to play football — and on being judged by his performance on the field and not his sexual orientation. After all, we were told ad nauseam, by Sam and his promoters in the sports media, that this is what Sam is about. If you Google “Michael Sam just wants to play football,” some 67 million results pop up. He also flatly stated that he “wanted to stop talking about his sexual orientation” and “let (his) work on the field speak for itself” in a radio interview, among other places.

Yeah, right. Nothing says that quite like licking icing off the mouth of another dude on national TV.( was it “icing”?) And I’m sure the new Oprah TV series will have nothing to do with sexual orientation either.

In other words, we now know what Michael Sam is a sham. He’s more interested in making a gay political/cultural statement than he is about playing football. (More on this in a minute.) This is fine if that’s his choice, and apparently the pay is quite good — but please don’t insult us by insisting this is all about football.

So are you shocked? Of course not.

Then again, you’re probably not an ESPN anchor who has tripped all over yourself to make the most melodramatic and slobbering “isn’t this a great moment for America!” comment — in an obvious attempt to go on the record as having incredible tolerance and humanity. And you’re probably not Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner who is turning the world’s most successful sports enterprise into a public experiment in liberal social engineering. Nor are you the VISA executive who rushed to join the corporate gay pride parade.

        Obama & Emanuel – Members
Of Same Chicago Gay Bath House
        By Wayne Madsen
        First Published 5-24-10

President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.

The bath house, Man’s Country, caters to older white men and it has been in business for some 30 years and is known as one of uptown Chicago’s “grand old bathhouses.” WMR was told by sources who are familiar with the bath house that it provides one-year “lifetime” memberships to paying customers and that the club’s computerized files and pre-computer paper files, include membership information for both Obama and Emanuel. The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. However, sources close to “Man’s Country” believe the U.S. Secret Service has purged the computer and filing cabinet files of the membership data on Obama and Emanuel.

Members of Man’s Country are also issued club identification cards. WMR learned that Obama and Emanuel possessed the ID cards, which were required for entry.

Obama began frequenting Man’s Country in the mid-1990s, during the time he transitioned from a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School to his election as an Illinois State Senator in 1996. Emanuel, reportedly joined Man’s Country after he left the Clinton White Hosue and moved back to Chicago in 1998, joining the investment firm of Wasserstein Perella and maintaining his membership during his 2002 campaign for the U.S. 5th District House seat vacated by Rod Blagojevich, who was elected governor.

Man’s Country appears to be a “one stop shopping” center for gay men. The club’s website advertises steam rooms, “fantasy rooms,” bed rooms, male strippers, adult movies, and lockers.

However, Man’s Country was not the only location for Obama’s predatory gay sex activities. The Chicago gay community is aware that Obama often made contacts with younger men at his famous “pick-up basketball” games. It was at these “pick up” matches where Obama first met Emanuel and a young Democratic campaign worker and senior bank vice president named Alexi Giannoulias.
