Not only has the ship itself cost over 100 percent of its original projection, the planes that are supposed to operate from it are no where near ready and their cost keeps climbing faster than the plane itself can go.

Wrong on both accounts. What you see there are two British Royal Navy “Aircraft Carriers. The one on the left is the new HMS Queen Eleziabeth2 2. Was laid down in 2005 and is still not completed. The one on the right, I believe, is the former HMS Ark Royal which has already been sold for scrap.
Ya got one new piece of junk. One old piece of junk. Billions of pounds wasted, for absolutely nothing.
