Two (teenagers) dog whistle for BLACK’s were arrested Thursday and charged with murder after they allegedly lured a man with a sexting app, then beat him to death and set him on fire.
Police charged Courtney Burks and Shaquan Bennett, both 18, with capital murder, KHOU reported.

Police said the victim, David Standley, thought he was meeting up with a woman to have sex but instead, encountered the two 18-year-olds who beat and stabbed him to death

The Fall of Donald Trump (and Why It Ain’t Happening)
    By J. Robert Smith
The buzzards are out. These are a subspecies, Bueto Nevertrump vulpinus. The carcass of healthcare reform has them circling. No, actually, they believe it’s the carcass of Donald Trump’s presidency. Repeal and replace dies, so the automatics kick in. “Trump’s failed. He was never up to the job. His presidency hangs by a thread!” And the variation: “It’s good Trump failed, ‘cause Paul Ryan’s bill was a vehicle for socialized medicine. Trump’s an unscrupulous lib. He’s a pretender, and now there’s more proof!”

Not proof, mind you, of House GOP incompetence. Not proof of a weak speaker and flabby leadership team. Cut ‘em slack. House Republicans only had seven years to figure out healthcare reform and get their act together. The failure belongs to Trump, and shows that his presidency is beginning to unravel… 40-odd days into his administration. The next three years and 325 days are just epilogue.

Reports of Trump’s political death aren’t just exaggerated. They’re absurd. It’s sky-high wishful thinking. So is the cliché that Trump’s itching to go left. It doesn’t stack up against the facts. For those who pegged Trump as a charlatan from the get-go, it’s a never-ending quest for validation. They just can’t be wrong. They’re always doubling down.

If Trump’s first 40-plus days in the White House are any indication, he has a real crack at making an historic presidency. He could rechart the nation’s course for a generation — in ways that advance liberty and prosperity.

You’ve Got a Book in You (Maybe Five)
    By Paul Clayton
That’s right, friends, you’ve got a book in you, maybe five, and in this lesson I will teach you everything you need to know to get them out and published. I don’t care if you’ve never written a sentence, even you, can get published by the Big Five.

Plot is king, or queen, or something in-between, and Big Publishing has developed a formula on what plots they will accept and reject. Through my intensive research and study of the Modern Literary Canon, I have come up with Five (5) Plots absolutely GUARANTEED to get you published. I also include in this lesson, five (5) plots to avoid, plots that will get your manuscript rejected again and again…..

Feminists worry ‘pussy hats’ marginalize men disguised as women
    By Ed Straker
A feminist with three names, Phoebe Maltz Bovy (I pity Mr. Bovy), writing in the WaPo, worried that the use of “pussy hats” in anti-Trump demonstrations marginalizes men disguised as women, since men disguised as women do not have vaginas, and “pussy hats” are symbols of vaginas, as well as many feminists’ secret desire to be groped by a man as wealthy as Donald Trump.

This confuses me, because if a man believes he is a woman, even if he isn’t, why can’t he also believe he has a vagina, even if he doesn’t? Nevertheless, feminists see this as a serious problem:

If women couldn’t agree on a moderate Democrat [Hillary, moderate, heh-heh] to become the nation’s first female president, what was left? Well, there were vaginas.

With Hillary gone, all they were left with was their vaginas.

The obvious problem with vagina-motif protest is that it leaves out some women – namely, trans women. Not all women have vaginas, and not all vagina-havers identify as women.

No surprise there. He is the same ol’ Slick Willy he always has been, except now he has to pay for it…
And this is just my opinion: $5000 for one roll in the hay!? Any guy that has to pay that much for a woman to have sex with him probably shouldn’t be allowed to breed.

        Another opinion:
Prostitution is the oldest profession in the world. What a woman (or man) chooses to do with their body should be their choice. If they choose to trade sex for money it is their business (literally). Yes, I find it to be immoral, but I do not think it should be illegal. The government has no business dictating what people should or should not do in the bedroom between consenting adults. Prostitution exists, always will, we should legalize it and tax it as earned income. Just a thought.

      2. neocon01

        Ms LL 2
        Can I borrow $50.00 ? or was that $5K?
im in the wrong business lol

with a national sales tax ALL would pay and ALL would pay the same proportion, the only REAL fair tax.

      3. Tim Post author

“The government has no business dictating what people should or should not do in the bedroom between consenting adults.”

Then you get the goobermint into the business of who can consent and who can not, In mek-ee-ko, 12 year old Girls are of legal age and unless you have not been paying attention, this is the direction that this Country is headed. There is very little will power in the repuke “heavy hitter” crowd to stop this.

Prostitution leads to broken lives all around. Psychological problems, drug addiction. diseases,
No way on God’s Good Green Earth I want any part of legalizing that. The argument of consent is a false one.

  9. Ms LL2

I’ll bite. I like a good debate. “Prostitution leads to broken lives all around.” Agreed. That is not being debated. So does gambling and drinking too much alcohol yet these activities are legal (as they should be–the goobermint should not control what adults choose to do with thier money or thier bodies).
Consent was not directly mentioned in my debate argument, but I can see it needs to be clarified. If two condenting adults (we will define that as 18 years or older) choose to engage in sexual activity and one of them chooses to give the other person money in exchange for sexual services what business is it to anyone else, especially Uncle Sam? (Other than taxing the income of course). This is undoubtably considered immoral by most people, yet should we as a people allow the government to dictate morality? How would what is moral and what is not be decided? Who would set the guidlines? Should we make it illegal to cheat on your wife? To have premarital sex? To have threesomes or be swingers? Are these activities any less deplorable than prostitution?
And I’ll mention this again: Prostitution, legal or not, will always be going on. Outlawing it only allows tax evasion of earned income, it won’t prevent it from happening.
    Respectfully,
    Ms L

Again I will point out to you that the goobermint will then have to define who can consent and can not. You can not get away from this argument, Do you or do you not want 12 year olds to be able to legally consent to sexual activity? Do you want 12 year old Girls walking the streets dressed in mini skirts and tank tops, turning tricks?

This is where this argument is going. There is no doubt about that. The sexualization of Children. It is endemic on the left and is gaining hold in the libertarian crowd. Please do not tell tell me that lowering the age of consent will never happen.

I can post you a laundry list of morally reprehensible behavior that is now common place.

      Hmmmmm interesting debate,

To be truthful you both have valid points but somewhat different views on approach.

This is the same argument we are having across our country, one is a biblical based morality code that sets strict standards and limitations upon individuals by the word of God, and is reinforced in statutory law. One which does not follow the strict biblical codes as a controlling factor but falls to the individuals own responsibility upon their beliefs, which could be a mix of both.

Biblically speaking SIN is SIN is SIN, and can not be compromised in any manner what so ever. another’s point of view although certain aspects may be sinful there are varying degrees and individual responsibilities though not set in stone. We have seen the slippery slope of compromise which I believe Tim is pointing out.
However some want the government to make these rules, and some think it does not fall upon the government to dictate any of those rules..
Thus we in the throws of separating into different camps of belief’s and how to govern those camps, One possibility would be islam and sharia law, and the other could be Sodom and Gomorrah, I hate the possibilities of either…However sadly I dont have the solutions at hand but one thing I do not want is MORE government intrusion into my life.

Good debate though, certainly provides fuel for further thought and introspection.

“However sadly I dont have the solutions at hand but one thing I do not want is MORE government intrusion into my life.”

I will point out that prostitution has been a civil crime for a long time in just every society in Western Civilization. Yes it exists and will continue to but let it exist without that thin veneer of legality that will replace morality.

“Russia? No, the Pony in the Manure Is the Corruption of our Intelligence Officials
    By Clarice Feldman

There’s so much in print and online about the House and Senate intelligence committees and Russian “collusion” with Trump that I can’t blame people with real lives to lead who just throw their hands up and garden or go hiking. Some will assume there’s got to be a pony in there somewhere, as Ronald Reagan used to joke about the kid digging through manure. I think there is, but it isn’t that Russia corrupted the 2016 election, it’s that Obama and his closest aides, including some at the highest level in the intelligence community, illegally intercepted one or more Republican candidates’ communications before the election, circulated them widely to their cohorts and then tried to use this information to defeat and later to hamstring Trump when Hillary — to their surprise — lost the election.

I also suspect that the attacks on Flynn have nothing to do with his Russian contacts which he disclosed, but, rather, to misdeeds respecting the Middle East, particularly Iran, the country he observed as Obama’s head of the DIA.

    Is the fall inevitable?
    By Michael Finch

The euphoria conservatives felt from the November election has evaporated. The left is at war with President Trump, the very left that has fully taken over the Democratic Party. We know that the establishment media are in bed with the Democrats. Even the establishment members of the Republican Party are colluding with the Democrats. There seems to be no doubt that many of the Republicans on the Hill would love to see Trump unseated, and it would not matter to them if Mike Pence or Hillary Clinton or Paul Ryan were to take the reins.

I have no idea if Trump can save the Republic. But I do know he is the best and perhaps only and last hope that we have. Trump is the enemy of everything the corrupt two-party oligarchy represents. He is a dire threat to their existence and, most critically, to their grip on power.

Washington, D.C. has become Imperial Rome, the richest and most powerful city known in the history of the world. And what seduction and corruption lie behind that power! The treachery today emanating from the halls of power in D.C. would make even the most corrupt Byzantine emperor blush.

How did it come to this? Was this inevitable?

Everything we know and understand, our lives as free citizens, everything is on a knife’s edge. What needs to be understood is that power is fleeting; empires crash, and they crash hard. There will be no picking up the pieces and starting America over. The collapse will be the end, and the world will be flung into chaos. We would be lucky to have a China or Russia take over; instead, the world will descend into a long period of tribalism and war.

Missouri surrendering to Real ID Act
    By Timothy Birdnow

sic “It appears that this is not just because DHS cracked the whip (and is threatening to stop Mo. citizens from flying on planes and whatnot); Missouri has been taking grant money from DHS precisely to implement the program that was banned “in whole or in part” in the state just 8 years ago. Interestingly enough, the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles attempted to collect data on gun ownership from license applicants in compliance with Real ID and in violation of state law. They were getting ready.

Missouri law is quite clear on the subject, and yet there were efforts being taken under former Governor Jay Nixon (D-lost somewhere) to use this act as a backdoor gun registration, in direct violation of state law. And the State Highway Patrol admitted to handing over a list of concealed carry permit holders to the Feds, no doubt collected by the License Bureaus in compliance with Real ID.

Missourians want to be protected from terrorism, but we do not want to become permanent suspects in the process. The way this so-called war has been fought has been essentially to force American citizens to prove their innocence rather than for law enforcement to seek out the guilty. There seems to be more concern for the rights of radicals and immigrants and alien colonists than for the rights of America’s own people. There are tried and true methods for dealing with spies and saboteurs, but what is being done is a radical departure from traditional, time-tested ways to deal with the problem, and that is because of a culture of political correctness and a lust for power in government circles. Real ID steals a fundamental right of Americans to be left alone and remain anonymous. We can no longer be said to be secure in our persons or papers and effects.

If this last election taught us anything, it is that the American people do not want business as usual. The enforcement of Real ID was an Obama-era scheme – one that a great many Americans do not want. We now have a Republican president, House, Senate, governor, Mo. state House, and Mo. Senate, and still we are having this rammed down our throats! What, pray tell, didn’t the political class understand? This last election was about change. We are tired of being treated like subjects rather than citizens, and seeing our leaders kowtow to aliens and special interests.

The most heinous tyranny, history’s most terrible atrocities, were not born full grown, but rather came about from “good ideas” like this. Tyranny starts as a small growth that metastasizes until it kills the host. It is important to remember that.

One final thought from James Madison: “Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedoms of people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”

This is Huge: Obama White House Approved Spying Against Trump

    Fellow Conservative,

Well, here it is. The smoking gun we have all been waiting for.

Many news outlets – and I mean many – are now confirming that the spy program against Donald Trump went all the way to the Obama White House. Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice – who infamously went on the Sunday shows to blame the Benghazi attack on a YouTube video – is the official responsible for “unmasking” Trump and his aides.

Here is what “unmasking” means. The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution protects Americans from warrantless searches or seizures. A warrant is required to spy on American citizens. If an American is caught up in an investigation and the government does not have a warrant to surveil that person, then their identity must be kept confidential. Without this protection, the Fourth Amendment would mean nothing.

The Obama administration tried to get a warrant to place surveillance on the Trump administration. They were turned down. Yet, transcripts of conversations were still collected and used for political purposes. Either the Obama administration spied on Trump without a warrant or they “incidentally” collected information on the Trump team and then illegally unmasked it.

Ultimately, the effect is the same.

The question has always been who ordered the warrantless surveillance or unmasking. We now know that was Susan Rice herself, Obama’s own National Security Advisor.

We have to ask ourselves a simple question: Is it possible for a cabinet-level White House employee to spy on the President-elect without the sitting-President knowing about it?
